Different Types of Pools for Your Home
Above-Ground Pool
Above-ground pools offer an affordable way to enjoy swimming at home. They are relatively easy to install and can be a great option for small yards or those not looking for permanent construction. These pools come in various shapes and sizes, allowing you to find one that fits your backyard perfectly.
Keep it well
- Regularly check and clean the filter system.
- Balance the pool water chemistry weekly.
- Inspect the pool walls and liner for damage.
In-Ground Pool
In-ground pools are a long-lasting and elegant investment for homeowners. They can be custom-designed to fit your personal style and the layout of your backyard, including options for additional features like waterfalls or lighting.
Keep it well
- Test and adjust water chemistry weekly.
- Clean the pool tiles and walls regularly.
- Check the pool pump and filter for efficiency.
Infinity Pool
Infinity pools, also known as vanishing edge pools, are designed to create the illusion that the water extends to the horizon. They are a luxurious addition for homes with a view, enhancing the aesthetic appeal and offering a unique swimming experience.
Keep it well
- Check and maintain the water level in the catch basin.
- Regularly clean and inspect the overflow edge.
- Ensure the filtration system is operating efficiently.
Lap Pool
Lap pools are designed primarily for swimming laps and exercise, making them ideal for fitness enthusiasts. Their long, narrow shape can fit into smaller spaces and they are often a choice for homes with limited yard space.
Keep it well
- Balance the pool chemistry regularly.
- Keep the pool deck clear of debris.
- Clean the waterline tiles weekly.
Saltwater Pool
Saltwater pools use a salt chlorinator to produce chlorine naturally, providing a smoother, less harsh swimming experience compared to traditional chlorine pools. This can be beneficial for those with sensitive skin or allergies.
Keep it well
- Monitor and adjust salt levels regularly.
- Inspect the salt chlorinator for efficiency.
- Clean the salt cell periodically to prevent buildup.
